Caldo de Pescado

Caldo de Pescado at the mercado

This is so good, we came back to Pancho’s the day after we had it the first time. Chunks of white fish, small bits of other fish including octopus, tomato-based broth with cilantro, basil, oregano, avocado, onions, lime, a crunchy hard roll or tortilla. Slightly spicy and piping hot. Cost: 35 pesos for a huge bowl, about $2.60 US dollars.

La Crema

La Crema

This cream is slightly thickened sweet cream, not sour cream. We always have some on hand for dips or to drizzle onto a spicy dish.
